Education & Human Services
Kathleen Brown is the Administrative
Assistant for the Department of Counselor Education & Human Services.
She supports the department chair, faculty, and staff. One of her main
responsibilities is the coordination of the application process for
admission to the department.
Alan Demmitt is the Chair of the
Department and an Associate Professor. He specializes in Marriage and
Family Counseling as well as Spirituality in Counseling.
Joy Duchak has worked in the Department of Counselor
Education & Human Services for 19 years. Joy’s main interest lies
in the area of mental disabilities. She is also on the ADAMIS Board and
a member of NAMI.
Michelle Flaum
is Clinical Faculty for the Community Counseling program.
Susan
Gfroerer is a Clinical faculty member for the School
Psychology program.
Scott Hall is an Associate Professor
and serves as the Advisor of the Community Counseling program. His
specialty and research interests focus on existentialism, spirituality
in counseling, and identity and character development.
Sawyer Hunley is an Associate Professor
and serves as the Advisor of the
School Psychology Program in the Department of Counselor Education &
Human Services.
Kelli
Jo Arndt Marquette is an Assistant Professor for the School
Counseling program. Her areas of expertise and research interests
include trauma and loss, children, and borderline personality disorder.
Eugene Moulin is a Full Professor
for the School Counseling program. He has been at the University for
over 30 years and served as the Department Chair for much of that time.
His wide variety of interests include career education and school
counseling.
Patricia Polanski is an Associate Professor
for the Community Counseling program. Her research interests are in the
areas of spirituality in counseling, counseling supervision and
counseling adolescents.
Angel Rhodes
is an Assistant Professor and serves as Advisor of the School
Counseling program.
Molly Schaller is an Associate
Professor in the Department of Counselor Education and Human Services in
the College Student Personnel and Higher Education Administration
programs. Her area of expertise and research interest involve College
Student Development, especially college sophomores, and student affairs
in private higher education.
Darla Twale is a Full Professor
in the Higher Education Administration program. Her specialty and
research interests focus on how people socialize in the roles of
residence life, women students, faculty and administration, and
collaborative communities.
