Human Development Services
Master of Science in Education
This program is designed to provide a masters degree for persons who do
not hold a teaching license and who do not wish to pursue licensure as a
counselor, but who are interested in enhancing their human service
skills for employment in other settings. It is appropriate for persons
in the clergy, nursing, criminal justice and other related fields.
Program Update (February 2007): The following changes have been
made to the Human Development Services Program:
EDC 525 Community Resources has been
eliminated.
EDC 623 Foundations in Abnormal Psychology has been added.
Drug and Alcohol Seminars have been changed from 2 sem. hours to 1 sem.
hour.
* The total number of hours in the
program have not changed. Those accepted prior to these changes,
please contact your advisor for assistance.

who intend to obtain either of these credentials must enroll in the 48
semester hour Community Counseling Master's degree program and also
