EXERCISE SCIENCE
Exercise Science prepares
professionals to promote and manage positive, healthful Iifestyles in others. It provides trained personnel who conduct
adult physical fitness testing, are knowledgeable about cardiac
rehabilitation principles and procedures, and develop personal
fitness training programs that involve exercise and physical
activity. These individuals work in corporate, industrial,
recreational, educational, and medical settings. This
concentration is interdisciplinary and includes courses from the
sport sciences, business administration, psychology, chemistry,
communication, and other related areas.

Exercise Science graduates have
secured positions as strength coaches (Div I or
professional sports), corporate fitness
managers/directors, fitness equipment sales and
management, and wellness coordinators. Others have
pursued graduates degrees, MS and PhD at schools such
