The School of Education and Allied Professions

The Office of Information Technology provides resources and support to all departments, programs and centers within the School of Education and Allied Professions.  This includes providing resources for classroom and professional use, maintaining the latest hardware and software, and attending to any problems that faculty and staff may run into.

 Dayton Early College Academy

The mission of DECA is to maximize each student’s unique potential through a personalized, accelerated academic program. It addresses a critical need in urban public schools to help students — particularly those underrepresented in higher education — to explore their personal and intellectual potential, achieve academic success, and make a seamless transition from high school to college.

Patterson Kennedy Elementary School

The University of Dayton has a partnership with this Dayton Public School as part of its Urban Teacher Academy.  The SOEAP provides academic materials and student interns to the satellite school.  The Office of Information Technology  maintains the CyberCafe inside the school as well as two wireless classroom carts.

he Dayton Council on World Affairs

This is a non-profit, non-partisan member of the World Affairs Council of America, based in Washington, DC, and is part of a fast growing network of World Affairs Councils throughout the United States.  The organization is housed at the University of Dayton and is affiliated with the School of Education.  The Office of Information Technology provides the same support services that it provides other parts of the School of Education.

Education Law Association

Education Law Association, formerly NOLPE, is a nonprofit, nonadvocacy organization that promotes interest in and understanding of the legal framework of education and the rights of students, parents, school boards and school employees.
Founded in 1954, the Education Law Association moved to the University of Dayton's Campus in 1997 and is affiliated with the University of Dayton's School of Education. Funds are obtained through membership fees, publication sales and conference and seminar fees.
