Graduate Level Validations and Endorsements

Specifics

An endorsement and a validation may only be added to an existing certificate in order to be valid.

The following are endorsements that are offered by the University of Dayton:

• Reading (K-12)

• Technology(k-12)
   

The following are validations that are offered by the University of Dayton:

• Early Education of the Handicapped

Information Common To The Above Certificates

The activation date on endorsements, validations, and additional certificates must be the same as the issuance date of the full certificate/license to which they are being added.

All endorsement, validation, and additional certificate/license applications must be signed by the Dean's office before they can be submitted to the State of Ohio. Contact the School of Education to receive your application packet and instructions.

Fingerprinting is not required.

The PRAXIS II for some specialty areas are required.
