One of the main goals of the School of Education and Allied Professions is to provide scholarship to faculty members and educators. The School of Education and Allied Professions maintains an Office of Publications that acts as a liaison with other publication offices on campus to promote School of Education and Allied Professions events, honors, grants, and students, alumni, and faculty activities. The School of Education and Allied Professions houses one journal: The Journal of the Midwest History of Education Society.

We also maintain electronic enhancements for the DAYTON EDUCATOR a joint publication of the School of Education and Allied Professions and the University of Dayton publications office. This service was started to provide additional electronic resources for educators. In addition to faculty-generated and student-generated educational resources, this service provides a vehicle for interactivity that we hope will grow related to the responses and interest of DAYTON EDUCATOR readers.
